中新网昆明11月8日电 (罗婕)今年截至11月5日，湄公河五国近90万人次从西双版纳中老边境出入境；前三季度云南省对湄公河五国进出口值达789.2亿元；中老铁路自开通运营以来，发送旅客超4170万人次......近日，云南省多部门陆续公开发布的多项数据显示，该省与湄公河五国交流交往不断升温，越来越热。

依托优质教育资源，云南省与湄公河国家开展教育合作。云南师范大学搭建泰国清迈大学孔子学院、缅甸仰光东方语言与商业中心孔子课堂等国际化办学平台，与泰国、老挝等国的学校共建泰国云华职业学院、老挝云华职业学院等境外合作办学项目。云南民族大学成立澜湄国际职业学院和澜湄职业教育基地，并在湄公河五国设置分院，为当地培养职业教育、职业技能人才。
